Jasper Lee is a lifelong Democrat with a proven committment to the party and the country. Currently serving as the Chair of Democrats Abroad Australia, having previously served as Vice Chair then Chair of the Young Democrats of Massachusetts AAPI Caucus, and having volunteered on and worked for various Democratic campaigns, he has shown his dedication to fighting for working Americans by building a Democratic Party that wins for them at the ballot box and afterwards, in power.
Jasper got his start in politics at the age of 11 following the 2016 election because he saw Trump as opposed to everything that makes America great. In the decade since, he has become increasingly involved in the work of the Democratic Party. He got his first job working on a State Senate campaign. A deep believer in public education and a supporter of organized labor, he also worked as an public school educator and was a card carrying member of his union, the National Education Association.

At the Young Democrats of Massachusetts AAPI Caucus, he found himself with a largely dormant organization that didn't meet and essentially existed as an organization on paper only. By empowering his team, refocusing the organization, and rebuilding to last, the caucus was successfully revived and continues to deliver to this day.
Last year, Democrats Abroad Australia faced a similarly difficult challenge. In 2023, four people acted as Chair of Democrats Abroad Australia making organizing GOTV efforts difficult. Having only arrived in Australia in February of 2024 himself, Jasper didn't intend to stand to become Chair of DA Australia, but when no other candidate stood, he put his hand up to serve. In the year since, he successfully led multiple GOTV initiatives that DA Australia had never attemped before, showed up to represent DA Australia at all hours of the day and night, and delivered for DA Australia's members. Now, he's running for RVC to be a supportive partner to all country committees in our region, and the strong champion we deserve at the global level.
Jasper Lee is a proud multigenerational Bostonian, Massachusetts voter, and yes, to the chargin of many, a massive Boston sports fan. He currently resides in beautiful Canberra, Australia's capital, where he frequently tells anybody who will listen that he may one day spontaniously book a flight to go to his nearest Dunkin' Donuts, all the way in Aukland, New Zeland.
